Zack Meyer was known for establishing the famous Zack’s BBQ restaurant on the east side of Hotchkiss, back behind City Market. The restaurant is always busy and is a North Fork Valley favorite destination, serving smoked ribs and chicken, great burgers, and always several kinds of pie. Zack was a beloved figure in Hotchkiss. He was an outdoorsman, a hunter, a car collector, and businessman. After his passing, his estate is being auctioned. A full list of auction items is attached to this entry.

Collectible classic car auction: 1936 Cadillac coupe, 1966 Mustang Fastback GT, 1954 Chevy Delivery Wagon, original 1931 Chevy 4-door sedan, 1929 Mercedes-style Gazelle convertible, 1954 Chris Craft speedboat with trailer, 1957 International S-160 stake bed dump truck

Several classic collectible cars will be auctioned in Hotchkiss, Colorado, on November 14, 2015. It even has the original swept-wing hood ornament, wire spoke wheels, and spare tires. As well, a 1954 Chris Craft 22-foot Runabout speedboat with original plywood hull and a 400-cid Cadillac engine, complete with modern-era trailer, will be auctioned.
