Goble Creek Ranch is located 25 minutes from the charming southwestern Colorado town of Dolores, near the enchanting Four Corners area, and has everything one could want in a Colorado mountain river ranch. The ranch boasts approximately four-tenths of a mile of both sides of the West Fork of the Dolores River. This section of the river boasts exceptional fishing for browns and rainbows. The river as it runs the ranch is well away from the road and offers a very private experience. Privacy yet convenient access is a hallmark of this property. Paved publicly maintained roads to the ranch driveway allow for year-round use of the property. As you enter the ranch and cross a bridge over Goble Creek, you will pass a pipe rail fenced riding arena and a large tack room which could easily be converted into a bunkhouse. The stunning 5000sf+ custom log home is situated amongst an enticing grove of trees only a stone's throw from the river. Featuring four bedrooms, open concept, hot tub, and several varied living areas, it is not unusual to see 50 hummingbirds around the feeders hanging on the back porch. The ranch is bordered fully on two sides by the San Juan National Forest and positioned directly across the road from a trailhead that offers easy access into the forest for hunting, trail-riding, and hiking. A large three car detached garage rounds out the improvements. The ranch has water rights that feed a pond and irrigate hay meadows, which provide a good mix of Colorado Mountain hay. The world renowned Dunton Hot Springs Resort is only minutes away. The elk hunting or viewing on the ranch can be very good even though the ranch is not extremely large. The river and the hay meadows frequently attract elk and mule deer.
