As a native of Colorado, Jake was born in Carbondale and raised in the mountains of Marble and Crawford. Jake grew up fly-fishing, hiking, and hunting.
Jake has solidified his real estate experience and success in 2022. With over $19 million in sales and earning his Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) designation, he's earned a spot in the ranks of reputable Colorado ranch brokers.
Graduating high school with an Associates of Science degree, Jake parlayed his education into a Business with Emphasis in Professional Land and Resource Management (PLRM) degree at Western Colorado University in Gunnison where he took classes in Water Law, Environmental Law, Mineral Rights Contracts, Geology, Oil and Gas Exploration, Range Management, and many more. During his senior year, he earned his Colorado Real Estate License, and has been knee-deep in the land industry.
Since his start, he's sold luxury ranches, wineries, hemp farms, development properties, hunting & fishing land, cabins, country homes, and more.
Bringing a new perspective on technology into the industry, Jake strives to push the envelope further with unique marketing ideas and methods learned from top marketing agencies. Jake has been an essential partner in United Country Colorado Brokers, facilitating and working multiple complex real estate projects since joining in 2017. Projects completed include over 6 large vineyard & winery sales in the State of Colorado, thousands of acres of land sales, and multiple ranch real estate and country home transactions. Jake was the main point of contact for the Battlement Mesa land developer properties auction, where United Country Colorado Brokers auctioned off over 30 development land & commercial building parcels.
