A tiny home! This cool, sweet, funky home is really charming. It's at the end of the road on a wooded lot, but only four miles from downtown Cedaredge, which is a nice small town on the south side of the Grand Mesa. This home, built by Trailer Made custom tiny homes, is 8x28 and sits on a 2.45-acre lot. It has propane for cooking, grid tied electric power, a domestic water tap, and new septic system. There is a stacked washer/dryer for laundry. It's thoughtfully designed and well built for a compact lifestyle. There are deer and turkey tracks on the trails through the lot, and a fire hydrant sits right at the corner of the lot for fire protection. This home offers privacy and seclusion, yet easy access to town and amenities.
There is no HOA for this property and yes, this home can be put into a short-term rental platform such as AirBnB or VRBO. Cedaredge is a great destination for vacationers. The Grand Mesa beckons, with over 300 lakes and reservoirs, excellent fishing, and 500 square miles of National Forest lands. There is all kinds of recreation, including mountain biking, Nordic skiing, downhill skiing at Powderhorn Resort, elk and mule deer hunting, horseback riding, 4-wheeling, dirt biking, hiking, and boating. Just west of Delta, half an hour away, is the mighty Gunnison River flowing through Escalante Canyon, with towering sandstone walls and interesting hikes and 4-wheeling routes. This is a nice destination for vacationers and visitors.
