A native of Craig, Colorado, Rob Daniels began his ranching career at 8 years old, when the neighbor lady would pick him up to help feed cows. After playing football and wrestling in high school, his first acquisition after graduation was buying horses to begin his rodeo career. Rob has never been on anyone’s payroll, as headed north to Wyoming to start his own construction and excavating business right out of high school. At the peak, Rob had 76 employees involved in oilfield site preparation and heavy construction projects. Rob subsequently spent seven years hauling cattle, servicing sale barns, ranches, and feedlots in every state in the continental US west of the Mississippi.
Over the course of 17 years, Rob expanded his operation to include 10 trucks and multiple employees, demonstrating his ability to manage and grow a business in a demanding industry. His work ethic and determination laid the foundation for a career built on reliability, hard work, and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by ranchers, farmers, and landowners.
Eventually, Rob returned to his home state of Colorado, bringing with him the experience and connections he gained during his time away. His travels took him through Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Nebraska, and Colorado, where he built valuable relationships and gained firsthand knowledge of the agricultural industry. This experience has given Rob an intimate understanding of the needs of ranchers and farmers, making him uniquely equipped to serve them in his new career.
