This mountain cabin is situated centrally between Carbondale, and Paonia, Colorado just off of State Highway 133, an easily accessible corridor home to stunning mountain vistas, creeks for fishing, public land hunting access, four wheeling, and Paonia State Park with its summer reservoir. Centrally located on the McClure Pass area geographically known as the Somerset area, there's plenty of mountain recreation to keep outdoor-friendly buyers busy. Easily accessible off the turn off the CR 265, the Grand Mesa is just miles from this cabin, with hundreds of thousands of acres of public land accessible to anyone. Up 265 is also "Overland Reservoir", a fun mountain reservoir with good fishing, camping sites, and access points to hunt surrounding mountain areas. It's also close to Electric Mountain Lodge, for summer and winter recreation, whether you're snowmobiling or cross country skiing, you can drop by for a hot meal or a cocktail. To the south is access to Paonia State Park, with the Paonia Reservoir which is a great lake for summer boating, paddle boarding, and more. Hopping over McClure Pass, you can drop into Marble, and do some world-class four wheeling and see the renowned Crystal Mill.
